Transition to a future-proof way of working through Microsoft’s Bridge to the Cloud 2 offer. At the start of the year, Microsoft announced that from January 2023, a new offer would be made available to all existing on-premise NAV and Business Central customers (with an active Enhancement Plan), giving them a transition path to Business Central Cloud (Software as a Service). This offer is very similar to last year’s offer; however, Bridge to the Cloud 2 will now be the ongoing migration path to subscription licensing.

    Receive Business Central cloud licences at a price point equal to your current Enhancement plan. This means that you can use your investment in NAV/Business Central on-prem licences to fund your new Cloud system.

  • Up to 3 years migration

    Customers can enrol in the promo for a 3-year fixed period. Customers can transfer to the available online licensing option for which they are eligible at that time.

  • Cost-efficient solution for your business

    The Bridge to the Cloud 2 offer provides a new cost effective way of running your business. Business Central licenses acquired through this offer equate to 40%  of the standard list price.  Participants in this promotion can benefit from Microsoft’s latest offer.  

How this offer can work for you?

Once you enrol in the scheme, 4PS will switch your Enhancement Plan (EP) payments from annual to monthly billing – this effectively becomes your subscription cost for the new Business Central Cloud licences. We then have 3 years (from the date of enrolment) to complete the upgrade. Please note: Enrolment implies a firm commitment to upgrade to SaaS; at the end of the term, your NAV licence will no longer be available.

Throughout the 3-year period, you will have dual-use rights, meaning you can continue to use your on-premise NAV/Business Central system until the upgrade to Business Central Cloud is complete. Enrolment in the Bridge to the Cloud 2 promotion is available indefinitely and is the new standard migration path from on-premise to Cloud (SaaS).

How will licensing work for you?

We calculate how many Business Central SaaS licenses your Enhancement Plan value equates to and can ‘true’ up that user count by a factor of 2, using zero-dollar users. To accommodate the change from concurrent users to named users, the promotion includes the opportunity to “true up” the user count by way of “zero-dollar” users.

These users are added at zero cost to your business for the promotion duration. At the end of the promotion, the monthly subscription reverts to the current list price. We can claim up to four times your EP value in BC licenses before you must purchase any additional users.

All calculations are based on a discounted price list. Those who take up this offer receive Business Central Cloud licenses at a price point 40% lower than the list price. Microsoft reserves the right to change the discount rates at the end of the 3-year period.
