Centralise documents for projects and service locations
BIP is used to create a separate work environment online for each project or service location in 4PS Construct. The site includes documents about specific projects or service locations in 4PS Construct and those you receive by mail or other sources. You can save all relevant documents in one central location by granting access to colleagues and stakeholders in this work environment. No more endlessly mailing modified versions of documents back and forth; everyone has access to the latest versions of documents concerning specific service locations and projects. Collaborating has never been easier!
Create your own document sites with templates
Setting up a DMS is often laborious, especially if you want a different environment for each project. In BIP, this is so much easier. Predefined templates enable you to set up a SharePoint Online environment for project and service locations with just a few clicks. You determine roles and authorisations in these templates, as well as rights for reading and writing, and you define the required document libraries (directory tree) and additional metadata per project phase.
Documents visible in all systems
BIP ensures all documents are available in both 4PS Construct and the SharePoint Online work environment. If you create a document in 4PS Construct, it will be visible in SharePoint Online at once. What happens if a construction team member adds a new CAD drawing or minutes to a project site? You will immediately see them in the project environment of 4PS Construct. And all this from one source document, creating a single source of truth.
BIP at work
A variety of 4PS customers use the Be-Sync Information Portal. And, Be-Sync continuously adds new functionalities based on the experience and requirements of these customers. An example of new functionality is the BIP Search App. This additional app, designed on the Microsoft Power Platform, simplifies searching in BIP document websites on tables and phones.
