4PS UK is proud to support North Solihull Foodbank as our Charity of the Year for 2025. With food insecurity on the rise, their work is more vital than ever, having helped over 6,000 people last year. As demand grows this winter, they remain committed to providing food, essentials, and financial support. Read our blog to learn how you can help.
At 4PS UK, we believe in making a real difference in our local community. That’s why we are proud to announce that North Solihull Foodbank will once again be our Charity of the Year for 2025. Having supported this vital organisation in previous years, we’ve seen first-hand the incredible work they do for individuals and families in crisis. As the cost of living continues to rise, foodbanks remain a critical lifeline for those struggling to afford even the basics.
The numbers speak for themselves. In the 12 months leading up to April 2024, North Solihull Foodbank provided essential food supplies to 6,065 people, including 2,487 children. This isn’t just about numbers; it’s about real people in our community facing hardship. No one should have to choose between heating their home and putting food on the table. Yet, for many, this is the reality they face.
North Solihull Foodbank, part of the nationwide network supported by The Trussell Trust, works tirelessly to ensure that those referred to them receive three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced emergency food. But their support doesn’t stop there – they also provide guidance and assistance to help people navigate difficult times and find long-term solutions.
Winter is the most challenging time for foodbanks across the country. Last year alone, foodbanks within The Trussell Trust network distributed 600,000 emergency food parcels. This year, the demand is expected to be just as high, if not greater. That’s why The Trussell Trust has launched an urgent winter appeal to ensure foodbanks can continue to meet this rising demand.
At 4PS, we are committed to doing our part. We will continue supporting North Solihull Foodbank by donating essential food items, hygiene products, and financial contributions to help them assist those most in need.
While providing food is the core of the foodbank’s work, the support they offer goes beyond just meals. Families and individuals facing crisis often need additional essentials such as toiletries, sanitary products, and baby supplies. By providing a combination of food donations, hygiene products, and financial support, we help ensure that North Solihull Foodbank can offer more holistic assistance to those who rely on their services.
We know that meaningful change happens when communities come together. If you’d like to get involved, there are several ways you can make a difference:
As we move into 2025, we remain committed to standing with North Solihull Foodbank in the fight against hunger and poverty. By working together, we can make sure no one in our community has to go hungry.
