We are delighted to announce that 4PS UK Support Consultant Greta Rusteikaite won the ‘Unsung Hero’ award at the 2024 Inspiring Women in Construction and Engineering Awards. These awards recognise individuals, teams, companies, and initiatives that have contributed to making a construction or engineering firm and the industry a better place to work.

The Unsung Hero category sought to shine a deserving light on the remarkable contributions made by women occupying back-office and non-consumer facing roles. Often working diligently behind the scenes, these individuals play a pivotal role in steering and helping their organisations, and the award is designed to honour those who consistently go above and beyond for their companies but are not often recognised.

Greta’s win in the ‘Unsung Hero’ category was no small feat. She was shortlisted against eleven other very deserving nominations, making her victory all the more impressive.

Since joining 4PS, Greta has made impressive progress in her role as a support consultant. She played a key part in improving the employee onboarding process by creating an e-learning module, which she continues to update for maximum effectiveness. Greta’s attention to detail also shines in software testing, where her work on improving scripts has helped reduce errors and maintain the high quality of our software. Within six months, she not only mastered Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central but also earned her certification, proving her ability to work independently and handle major systems like 4PS Construct.

On top of her technical skills, Greta actively contributes to our company culture through initiatives like community gardening and fitness challenges, and she supports her colleagues as a Mental Health First Aider. Her leadership in introducing sustainable office practices demonstrates her commitment to making 4PS a responsible business. Greta’s broad impact in multiple areas truly reflects the spirit of this award.

Support Manager Clare Seymour shared, “We couldn’t be more thrilled for Greta’s well-deserved award. She has quickly become an integral part of the team, achieving certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in just six months—a true testament to her capabilities and initiative. Beyond her technical contributions, Greta’s dedication to improving our office’s sustainability and her role as a Mental Health First Aider shows how much she values the well-being of both her colleagues and the company. Her positive influence on our culture and operations makes her a standout member of 4PS and she truly deserves this award.

Well done, Greta and all the other winners and finalists.
