Inspiring Inclusion at 4PS on International Women's Day
International Women’s Day is a special day celebrated all over the world. It’s a time to celebrate women’s achievements in society, work, culture, and politics. This day is crucial because it reminds us to celebrate how far we have come towards making things equal for men and women but also to remember that we still have more work to do. This year’s theme is “Inspire Inclusion”.
The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is “Inspire Inclusion.” To us, that means creating a world where women are fully included and respected. This year, we’re not just celebrating how far we’ve come in treating everyone equally, but we’re also joining the call to action for everyone to work together to make our society even more welcoming for all.
The #InspireInclusion effort reminds us that everyone has a part to play in stopping unfair judgments and supporting fairness for all genders. Inspiring inclusion helps us support women’s rights and build a place where everyone feels they belong and can make a difference. International Women’s Day is a time to stop, think, and appreciate the progress we’ve made in achieving equality between men and women.
The Importance of Gender Parity and Balance to 4PS and the World
We all know gender equality and balance are essential for a forward-thinking society. At 4PS, we appreciate that this balance is more than just numbers; it’s about appreciating everyone’s differences, creating welcoming environments, and valuing what each person brings to the table, regardless of gender. When men and women are treated equally, the whole world wins. It leads to better economic growth and a fairer society. The positive impacts of gender equality reach far and wide, changing things for the better.
Celebrating Our Journey and Contributions
Looking back, we’ve made great strides in supporting gender diversity and inclusion. Our ‘4PS Life’ programme has played a key role in helping our staff with a range of activities aimed at improving the health and growth of every team member. A while back, we pledged to support Women in Dynamics, who work hard to promote inclusivity in the Dynamics community and encourage talent, innovation and employee retention.
Our involvement in the community, including our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, has greatly benefited our local area and demonstrated our shared commitment to making a positive impact. Whether helping local food banks or supporting the next generation through donations and mentorship, every step has moved us closer to creating a world that welcomes everyone.
We are also immensely proud of being shortlisted for two diversity and inclusion awards at the Digital Revolution Awards, to be held in May 2024. This recognition demonstrates our unwavering commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive environment within the tech industry. We genuinely believe in the power of difference to drive innovation and excellence, and these nominations reflect our entire team’s hard work and dedication.
